Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) Sports
CYO sports is a wonderful opportunity for children and teens in our parish to participate in variety of sports in a Catholic environment. Participants will compete against teams from Region 20, which is part of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
Participants must be Catholic and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe parish. The athlete must be enrolled in respective parish PREP program OR ATTEND CATHOLIC SCHOOL to be eligible.

OLG CYO Mission Statement
CYO Sports is just one component of OLG's comprehensive youth ministry program.
This program enables the partnership of parents, priests, religious, teachers and adult leaders to manage and support a sports program that allows the youth of our parish to grow in their relationship with God.
Such a program:

Employs healthy enjoyable competition to promote the sharing of gospel values among athletes, parents and coaches.

Assist's parish leadership in nourishing the emotional, spiritual, social and physical needs of young people.

Allows youth to witness the life of Christian discipleship in their coaches and adult leaders.

Encourages youth to become responsible members of their faith community.
Basketball (Winter)
Girls and Boys:

4th grade

Varsity - 7th & 8th grades

High School - 9th thru 12th grades
As team rosters fill-up, additional players will be placed on waiting lists until another team can be formed.
Our goal is to a have a team for all players who want to play OLG CYO Basketball.

CYO Track and Field (Spring)
This program is open to children in 2nd through 8th grades from the OLG and St. Martin parishes. All CYO athletes must attend the parish PREP program or a Catholic School.
Children of all experience levels are encouraged to participate in this fun sport with the opportunity to compete in different events and potentially CYO night at the Penn Relays at Franklin Field.
Practices are M, W, F, 6-7:30 PM at Tohickon Middle School, beginning after Daylight Savings begins. Meets are on Saturdays or Sundays at various locations throughout Bucks County. Season usually ends first weekend of June.

triple jump (8th grade only)

Cross Country (Fall)
Boys and girls in 1st through 8th grade are eligible to run in an encouraging environment.
Practices typically begin around Labor Day and the season runs through the end of October.
Practices include, stretching, running and games! They are held Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Coaches realize that athletes may play another sport and are encouraged to attend practice when they are available.
Meets are held each Sunday, staring in mid-September. Children run a race distance that is appropriate for their age group.
