Blue Knights is a new youth group for boys 1st through 5 /6 grade.

It’s finally here! After much prayer God has seen to make it possible for Our Lady of Guadalupe to offer the Blue Knights Boys’ Club. This is a fun, faith-filled Catholic club for boys in grades 1 through 5/6. This club is the bookend of the Little Flowers Girls’ Club. This particular program was developed by retired Marine, theologian and Catholic author, Dan McGuire. The program maps out virtues, activities, talks, games and study of saints and the Catholic faith. There will be service projects and outings. They will come to know and understand the importance of all they study as the basis for living their life as the true Catholic men God created and called them to be.

The Blue Knights is part of Youth Ministry and will have the oversight of Lisa Kopertowski, however, the meetings and activities will be run by a young, newly married and truly Catholic man, along with a wonderful Catholic dad of four. When:
Registration is now open for CYO Basketball and closes on October 13, 2024.

Registration is open for boys in grades 4th through 12th and girls in grades 4th through 8th on the parish website. Players (grades 4th through 8th) must be registered members of the parish and attend PREP or Catholic School. High school players must be members of the parish and have received the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Coaches are also needed.

​If fun, food, friends, games and Jesus work for you, then come on over. Bring a friend or make some new ones. If you think you already know what youth group is, I challenge you to come and see that it is not what you think, but much, much more. Last year we had an average of almost 30 high school students each week.

Calling all kids in grades Kindergarten to 5th grade to join the fabulous OLG Children’s Choir!
We sing at the 11:00 a.m. Mass the first Sunday of each month. When you sing, you pray twice! We have lots of fun too! Kids, bring your friends along.

Calling all kids in grades 6 through 12th to join the awesome OLG teen band and singers called “Keep the Faith!” We sing at the 11:00 a.m. Mass the third Sunday of each month. We also merge with the Youth Group! What could be cooler…if you brought your friends along too!

Junior High and High School youth groups will enjoy a special night out at Thunderbird Lanes on Friday, November 22. Junior High time is 4:00 - 6:00p.m. and High School time is 6:00 - 8:00p.m..
